Fruit trees: Futures prototyping project with the Prime Minister’s Office of Finland

Ideas, projects and practices that are active and already fruitful with learnings and impact.

We are excited to announce our selection for a public tender by the Finnish Prime Minister's Office to explore the future of sustainability policy through futures simulation. In collaboration with Demos Helsinki, we are supporting the Sustainability Panel's new initiative: the Futures Project.

This project aims to craft positive, multi-perspective visions of life beyond the sustainability transformation, with citizens at the heart of the process.

With a focus on societal impact, this initiative seeks to spark action across all levels of society. The project will be completed by June 2025.

New shoots: House of Impact at Slush

Emerging work that’s inspiring us, or that we are beginning to nurture

Zeynep recently teamed up with Josine Bakkes from Imaginal Cells to run a workshop at Slush 2024’s “House of Impact”, entitled The Power of Imagination: Creativity as a Catalyst for Sustainable & Conscious Leadership

In the session, participants explored how creativity and imagination serve as essential tools for conscious leaders driving sustainability transitions. The discussion highlighted the pivotal role visionary thinking plays in addressing complex environmental challenges and fostering innovative solutions.

😌 Rest & Resilience

With the long dark evenings and the cold weather setting in, the natural world around us is starting its season of hibernation - and whilst we may not be able to completely stop, it’s a good reminder to take some time for rest and rejuvenation over the coming months.

Need some help carving out the time for rest? Join Zeynep and Anni at our upcoming Rest & Resilience Station, where we will explore how resting deeply and reconnecting with the wisdom of our bodies can foster inner growth that sparks lasting outer change.

🎓 Transition Design Trainings

We’ll be hosting our final Transition Design Training for 2024 in December. Join us for a 2.5-hours online workshop where we'll introduce you to Transition Design, Systems Thinking and Futures Thinking, share our Transition Design toolbox and guide you in applying it.
