Fruit trees: Sitra’s Imagination toolkit for Good Life is published!

We’re excited to finally share the release of Sitra’s Työkaluja hyvän tulevaisuuden kuvitteluun (Tools for imagining a good life) - an open source toolkit of imagination exercises and approaches designed to inspire new visions of good life for both people and planet.

We collaborated with Sitra in early 2024 to explore and develop the concept for this toolkit, directly engaging the Finnish public and testing imagination tools with stakeholder groups - so it’s wonderful to see the tools out there for public use!

New shoots: Joining Creative Sustainability’s Capstone course

In our small collective we have a high proportion of members graduated from Aalto University’s Creative Sustainability master’s programme. Whilst we often keep in touch through guest lectures, alumni panels and student events, we’re excited to share that we will be joining the Capstone in Creative Sustainability course in early 2025 as a case study.

Sowing seeds: Sharing and imagining the projects and change the world needs

A key area we are passionate to develop is Legal Design: bridging the gap between law and design to create more trusting, reciprocal, more than human and adaptive approaches within legal structures.

Recently, Zeynep and Savannah facilitated the Finland Hub workshop at the World CC Symposium alongside Helena Haapio and Petra Hietanen-Kunwald from Aalto University.

Our workshop used contracting blueprints to centre discussion around:

• Mapping the Legal Contracting Experience of a Creative Entrepreneur

• Sustainability in Supply Chain Contracts

Using service design methods, the workshop sparked fresh perspectives among legal practitioners. We're eager to collaborate on reimagining the legal infrastructure - if this resonates with you, let’s connect!

Peak into policy design with this tiny travel report from Anni’s experience at the EU Policy Lab’s recent workshop in Brussels.

We are creating connections with other policy design experts and building our own approach to policy design - combining many Falay and transition design ways of working with the government and policy context.
